Description

Vader on chain for Daniela Chris !

I don´t kow what is he feeling - I was very focused on his pose instead feelings :(
My original plan were to draw Vader from different line of vision ( would be more impressing ), but it turns out too difficult cause proportions. I don´t like to risk.

May be I will try it again! Newer give up on painting / drawing.

Unusual picture for most - and usual for me, at least for last year. And if we remember how Palpatine was treating Vader we would see that this state of things is not as unusual as you may think.
The shadowing at Vader is still brilliant and he has volume, his tabard is not empty, we can see the curves of the body beneath it. That is very nice.
I see you used Episode III promo photo of Darth Vader's helmet as original. I think that is not the best photo to be used that way as it has very unnatural foreshortening. But as far as I remember you are drawing Darth Vader's helmet for the first or second time so you definitely need an original. But it has certain flaws, such as unnatural pose. Vader's neck looks too long, and the turn of his head looks unnatural.
Well, about proportions: I would say that Vader has female body. He is too slim (the original Vader is big, heavy, massive) and the curves of his body look very feminine. I haven't seen very much men portraits in your gallery so I think the trick is you are not used to draw men.
The other flaw is that flat Palpatine's figure and stairs, Vader stays out of it because he is the only thing here that has volume.
Still, all the picture looks way surreal; looking forward to the continuation! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />
