I tried how quickly I can draw still-life..or rather...if I'm still able to draw still-life at all:lmao:. I have to say, beginning was damn difficult cause I somehow couldn't place all the stuff on paper:blush:

The piece of fruit in the little box are both very well drawn, I think. Most of it is quite good, though the light green bottle could use more definition.
I went to art school (majored in graphic design) but I consider myself unable to draw or paint. I haven't tried to since art school, close to 30 years ago.
Editing my photos with pixel editing and applying effects is the closest I come to drawing now. I think I have some drawing skill, and should try to again.
When I drew, I was pretty tight and very slow--not loose or free at all.

Oh,yeas! It should-I have already payed look to it and I have to say you are correct:nod:It seems too light and without borders. It didn't seems so when i was drawing it cause this bottle was realy very light and it's colour was faint. But when I'm looking at it without reference i had it would be better to so the bottle more definite:nod:but i'm too lazy for doing it:D
hehe, yes...apple in box is funny idea i think.

you might can draw and paint-it's about practise, experience and technik than anything alse.I think you may try it again.I really painted a lot.About 5 or 8 hours every week.
Most of ppl are slow despite they are good in painting.I wouldn't be worried about it:)
Hmm..were you afraid of make mistake during painting? You should not cause it's just blocking you.You have to keep in mind you can repair every mistakes during painting, so they wouldn't be visible.

Anyway,I!m happy you like it:)hehe, my only big picture mady by coloured pencils:)

To see colors mirroring in colors... that's something I'll never get.

I love this "personal trait"of colours.

It's helpful to keep in mind, light objests usually mirror vivid or dark colour which is nearby.Good practise for seeing many colours in one object is watching stormy or dark clouds and figuring out which colours and exactly where you can see.It works better more longer you are watching it.
