This is very old painting. I just added beckground in Photoshop today. I thought it could have been very impressive painting but absence of beckground made it look weird.
I'm more than happy with result

It's really perfect with the blue background

. But I understand you being a little bit afraid because to combinate different blue tones isn't so easy (because of my own experience said). Really wonderful work

Exactly!Different tones can make beckground somehow foreign or unsuitable.And some ppl warned me it's not good to mix digital and traditional...but I think it's good idea.I met some artist who do it and results are very good so i wasn't that worried about the second point.But colours worried me.

Sometimes I also mix traditional and digital art. If it's make very well, like yours, it will fit very well together. Why not....? And yes, I'm also extremly careful with colours and I often rework a work because of lights and colors..... So wish you a nice weekend
